What is the story behind Valentine’s Day? How is the attraction between two lovers influenced by biology? Is there an evolutionary lesson behind mate selection? What role does various food and botanicals play in this funny little game called love. Since knowledge is power, come join us and maybe you’ll get lucky!

All students have the opportunity to earn up to ten points extra credit on the first exam by attending this event and completing a 2-3 page paper on it. In addition to summarizing the information presented, you should obtain at least (1) other source and write the paper in APA format.

Psy 215 or 215H students: You have the option of attending the lecture and completing a paper on one of the Sexual Disorders/Dysfunctions (the chapter which we will be completing second half of the semester).
