Violence and aggressive behavior has reached pandemic proportions globally. The NFL scandals have recently brought these behaviors into our home on prime time television. I am appalled by the fact that acts of domestic violence were dealt with as" a slap on the wrist" infraction.

Kudos to Meredith Vieira! This esteemed reporter and anchorperson courageously shared her personal experience with domestic violence on national television. Not only did she create a greater public awareness, she encouraged women to come forward, and to realize there is help.
