MIDTERM EXAM DATES

Thursday, October 29th is the Midterm for the following courses:

Psy 101H-Tuesday/Thursday, 9:30am
Psy 101-Tuesday/Thursday, 11:00am
Psy 201-Tuesday/Thursday, 12:30pm
Psy 101-Thursday, 3:00pm

Date for Psy 201, Monday/Wednesday at 9:30am will be announced shortly.

Remember: If you missed any of the first two quizzes for these classes, you must make them up before the midterm. If you do not, a zero is averaged in for any missed grade.

MISSED QUIZZES

As we are getting ready to complete our second quiz of the semester (and shortly thereafter, the midterm), just a reminder, anyone whom missed one of the two first quizzes must do a makeup before the mid-term. Quizzes 1 & 2 that are not made up before the midterm will be counted as 0 in the quiz grade.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The field of Neuroscience is intimately involved with the idea of artificial intelligence, that is, building computers that are more like humans. While we still may be a ways from some of the classic science fiction characters whom seemed more human (and ultimately more powerful)  than us, the advances we are making currently have begun to have a major impact on our life.
